The CRD will be conducting a 21-day sewage bypass of secondary treatment between March 26 and April 16.

This activity will result in effluent which has undergone primary treatment to exit the 2km long outfall into the Salish Sea.  This work will take up to 21 continuous days between March 26 and April 16 with the potential for localized odour generation in the surrounding community for an eight day period starting March 29. In an effort to minimize the duration of possible odour causing activities, work will be occurring through out the day and night.

This work is part of the planned maintenance in accordance with the treatment plant design and is being undertaken to ensure ongoing efficient and reliable operations.
