Closure on the Galloping Goose Regional Trail West of Six Mile in View Royal

The Galloping Goose west of Six Mile Road will be closed due to the Ministry of Transportation Six Mile bridge replacement project starting March 2.

The closure is expected to last approximately 6 weeks. A trail detour will be in place for all pedestrians and cyclists for the duration of the project. 

Equipment for this project will be brought in from the Atkins Park and Ride and walked west up the trail to the project area. Traffic control personnel will be on site for the first four days while equipment is moved. There will be intermittent delays while crews move the equipment. 

Follow the direction of traffic control personnel on site and use caution around equipment and crew. See map for details [PDF/3.2MB]
