Applications are processed on a first come, first serve basis throughout the year. All projects must be conducted within the calendar year that the application was made and be completed within four months of receiving funding approval.
Applications for $1,000 or less will be reviewed and assessed by CRD Environmental Resource Management staff. The project contact will be notified within one month whether or not the application has been approved for funding. Applicants submitting special requests requiring Board approval (over $1,000) will be notified by letter within 10 weeks from the date the application was received by the CRD.
Funds will be paid after the project has been completed and the applicant has requested payment by completing and forwarding a Letter of Certification to the CRD Environmental Resource Management division.
