Housing

Housing is the foundation of a happy and healthy life. At the Capital Region Housing Corporation (CRHC) and Capital Regional District (CRD), we take pride in continuing to promote, expand and provide housing options for low- and moderate-income families, seniors and persons living with disabilities within the capital region.

The Capital Region Housing Corporation (CRHC) is Vancouver Island's largest non-profit housing provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of the CRD. Our mandate is to develop and manage affordable housing to meet the needs of people living within the capital region, serving almost 4,000 tenants in over 50 buildings across seven municipalities.

The CRD's Regional Housing team provides strategic planning and administrative oversight of housing planning and policy initiatives across the region.
