Business Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in doing business with us. The Capital Regional District (CRD), Capital Regional Hospital District, and Capital Region Housing Corporation purchase materials, supplies, construction, equipment, rentals, and assorted services and goods. We are always looking for the best partners and encourage applications from businesses of all sizes.

The CRD purchases in an open, fair and transparent manner. We support economic development and community prosperity by working with local partners, small suppliers, and diverse businesses to achieve the best overall value for the district and build community capacity.

Search for Opportunities

When the CRD has a new or updated business opportunity, we advertise them on BC Bid and the CRD Business Opportunities Portal.

  • We announce all procurement opportunities valued at $75,000 or above for goods and services and $200,000 for construction, other than those where a standing offer or pre-qualification has been conducted.
  • For lesser sums we may advertise or proceed by invite-only competition.
  • We also run pre-qualfications and standing offer competitions for work on an as-needed basis.

BC Bid

BC Bid is a marketplace where public sector organizations advertise opportunities. Browse through the CRD's currently available opportunities by choosing Find an Opportunity from the search options and then scrolling down the organization list.
