Greenhouse Gas Dashboard

The following greenhouse gas (GHG) dashboards are tools to enable engagement with municipal climate data.

The CRD has produced biennial GHG inventories since 2018 to better understand the sources and trends of GHG emissions within the capital region for the following categories (definitions can be found at the bottom of the page)

  • Stationary energy (e.g., buildings, construction, energy industry)
  • Transportation (including airport and marine emissions)
  • Waste
  • Industrial process and product use
  • Agriculture, forestry and other land use

Annual GHG and Energy Use Dashboard

The following dashboard provides annual GHG and energy use data for each municipality and electoral area in the capital region for 2007, 2022 and 2024.

GHG Comparison Dashboard

The following dashboard allows the user to compare two years or municipalities and electoral areas by area totals or per capita.
