Nomination packages are now available. Completed packages must be submitted between Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 9am and Friday, September 11, 2026 at 4pm.
The Capital Regional District (CRD) does not endorse candidates or authorize use of the CRD logo on campaign material.
Nomination Documents
The following nomination packages are available for pickup at 625 Fisgard Street. Note that these packages must be returned to 625 Fisgard Street. We further recommend that you set up an appointment via email with the Chief Election Officer or Deputy to review your documentation.

The following nomination packages will be available for pickup at the JDF Electoral Area Office located at #3 - 7450 Butler Road, Sooke, in early August. These packages must also be returned to the JDF EA office.

Campaign Financing
Campaign financing for local government elections is governed under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act. All questions from candidates, elector organizations and third party sponsors related to campaign financing must be directed to Elections BC.
Elections BC is responsible for the administration of the provincial electoral process in B.C. and the campaign financing and third party advertising rules under the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act.
