CRD Regional Parks Campgrounds

Please Note: As of noon on July 16, 2026, campfires are prohibited in most areas within the Coastal Fire Centre, including in CRD Regional Parks Campgrounds. This prohibition does not include the use of CSA-rated outdoor stoves - devices used outdoors for cooking, heat or ambiance that burn charcoal briquettes, liquid or gaseous fuel, and have a flame height of less than 15cm tall. This prohibition is in place until October 31, 2026, or until the order is rescinded.

The Capital Regional District has three campgrounds:

In all campgrounds, fees are $25/night; $10/night for an extra vehicle (the daily additional vehicle fee is waived for vehicles with a valid parking permit for people with disabilities.) Fees include taxes. Tent pads for cyclists, available at Spring Salmon Place (KWL-UCHUN) campground, are $15/night.

In all campgrounds:

  • Quiet time is 10pm to 7am.
  • Generator use is permitted between 9-11am and 6-8pm.
  • Check out by 11am, check in times vary between 12 and 1pm.
  • No more than 7 persons per campsite with a maximum of 4 adults.
  • Fires are permitted in designated fire rings except in periods when a fire ban is in effect.
  • Keep dogs on-leash in campground and pick up your dog’s droppings and put them in the trash.
  • Alcohol is not permitted outside individual campsites.
  • Smoking is prohibited.
  • Camping is permitted in designated sites only.
  • Stays in all campgrounds are limited to 14 days per calendar year.
  • Visitors must leave the campground by 8:30pm.
