Jordan River Regional Park is a 187-hectare coastal forest park along the Juan de Fuca Strait. It's a favorite spot for locals and offers beautiful views of the Olympic Peninsula. A short walk through the forest on a trail and down a set of stairs takes you to Sandcut Beach, a long cobblestone shore along the Juan de Fuca Strait.

To help preserve the park:
- Keep your dog under control or on a leash.
- Stay on marked trails and do not disturb plants or animals.
- Clean up after your dog and take all your trash with you.
- Smoking is not allowed in parks or on trails.
- Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not allowed.
- Camping outside of the campground, open fires outside of designated fire pits, and alcohol are not allowed.
Campground
The Jordan River Regional Park campground offers waterfront views and operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations or online/phone registration. The campground has both drive-in sites and walk-in sites. Dogs must be kept on a leash in the campground. All campsites are self-contained.

Campground Rules
- Quiet time 10pm to 7am.
- Generator use permitted 9-11am and 6-8pm.
- Checkout by 11am.
- No more than 7 persons per campsite with a maximum of 4 adults.
- Fires permitted in designated fire rings only.
- Dogs on-leash in campground.
- Pick up your dog’s droppings.
- Alcohol not permitted outside individual campsite.
- Smoking prohibited.
- Camping permitted in designated sites only.
- Maximum length of stay is 14 days per calendar year.

- Individual fire rings (for use only when a campfire ban is not in effect)
- The campground does not provide hydro, dumping station, or showers
Fees
$25/night. Additional vehicle $10/night. Payable by cash only. Fees include taxes.

How to Get There
Follow the Trans-Canada Highway from Victoria to the Sooke exit. Follow Highway 14 (Juan De Fuca Hwy / West Coast Rd) toward the town site of Jordan River, approximately 55km. The Sandcut Beach parking area is ~4km before (east of) the Jordan River town site. Allow approximately 1.5 hours driving time from Victoria.
