Volunteering for Regional Parks

Passionate About Parks? Volunteer!

Regional Parks provides opportunities to get involved in the preservation and enjoyment of regional parks and trails, with positions for naturalists, restoration volunteers, park stewards and trail ambassadors. There are also opportunities for groups to help with one-time, short-term projects such as park clean-ups, invasive species removal and plantings.

There's no experience necessary. We provide training, support, a fascinating and beautiful work environment and a great deal of appreciation. You provide your time and enthusiasm.

Group Volunteering

Looking to volunteer as a group? There are many opportunities for groups to volunteer in parks, and dates and locations can be flexible. Groups can work to remove invasive species or do litter clean-up once or multiple times. The CRD supplies all the tools and equipment - just bring the people! This is a great option for corporate groups, schools, youth groups, family reunions, religious groups or environmental groups. For more information, email CRD Regional Parks.

Student Volunteering

Student volunteering allows students to complete any curriculum-required volunteer hours and can help to build out a resume in a fun and flexible way, all while enjoying nature. There are many options for student volunteers, and CRD staff are happy to work with you (and your friends) to find the best fit. For more information, email CRD Regional Parks.
