Borrow an Educator's Kit

The Every Drop Counts kit [PDF/227KB] is a grade 2 learning resource for drinking water quality, protection and conservation. Make learning more meaningful with local content and maps. The kit includes lesson plans, digital resources, books and demonstration materials.

Email waterwise@crd.bc.ca  to request an Every Drop Counts educator's kit, water wise bathroom kit (toilet leak detection tabs, showerhead efficiency tests, water wise checklist decal, toothbrushes, etc.) or discuss how to incorporate water conservation education into your learning plans.

In-Person Programming (Grades 2-5)

Grade: 2 - 5
Duration: 45 minutes - 1 hour
Location: in-class

Curious about where your drinking water comes from? Invite a CRD educator to bring a watershed model into your classroom and demonstrate how water and watersheds connects us all. Learn the importance of conserving this precious resource and protecting our local waterways, ocean, and environment.

There are no fees for this program.

This program is full for the 2024/2025 school year. Registration will reopen in Sept 2025.
