Maliview Estates Wastewater Treatment

This system provides local sewage collection and treatment for over 100 lots in the Maliview Estates rural development on Salt Spring Island. The service's treatment plant produces treated liquid effluent and sludge. The liquid effluent is dispersed into the ocean by an outfall; the sludge is sent to the Salt Spring Island liquid waste disposal facility for further processing.
