Banned Items

General refuse, including renovation and demolition material, is inspected when it arrives Hartland. If a load contains excessive amounts of recyclable or compostable materials, the customer is subject to ticketing under CRD bylaw, in addition to the cost of disposal. In some situations the hauler may not be allowed to deposit the waste and may be asked to remove the material from the site.

Note: Items marked with * are accepted at the Hartland Public Drop-off Depot or with a permit or pre-approval
