The following information only applies to water services operated by the CRD in View Royal, Colwood, Langford, Metchsoin, Highlands, Sooke, East Sooke, Salt Spring Island, Southern Gulf Islands, Port Renfrew and Wilderness Mountain Service Area. For leak adjustments outside of these areas, contact your water provider directly.
How to Spot a Leak
Keep an eye on your water bill. If your bill is higher than you expect, you may have a leak.
Always check your water bill for abnormal consumption. The property owner or tenant has no more than thirty (30) days from the billing date to appeal charges on the water bill.
Leak Adjustments
If you have a water leak, you may qualify for a leak adjustment on your water bill. Please select your area for details:
- Westshore Communities, Sooke & East Sooke: Langford, Colwood, View Royal, Metchosin, Highlands, Sooke, East Sooke
- Electoral Areas: Salt Spring Island, Southern Gulf Islands, Port Renfrew, Wilderness Mountain
