Lyall Harbour, Saturna Island

Lyall Harbour is located in the southwest portion of Plumper sound, the body of water surrounded by Mayne Pender and Saturna Islands. The Lyall Harbour wharf is attached to the adjacent BC Ferries dock.

The Lyall Harbour wharf offers fuel service, and has loading areas used for emergency vessels and essential service providers, such as BC Ambulance, school water-taxis, Canada Post, RCMP, etc. It is also served regularly scheduled float planes.

Public Moorage at Lyall Harbour

A few small local boats moor here and overnighters are common year round. In summer months rafting is often necessary.

Nearby Services

Groceries, a pub, and fuel are available close by, just up the approach to the main road. No power or water is available on the dock, but BC Ferries has a waiting room with bathrooms near the top of the gangway, open during ferry operation hours.

The notice board at the head of the gangway provides information, payment envelopes, and a lock-box. Additionally, find rate information on this site.
