Fernwood Dock, Salt Spring Island

The Fernwood dock is located on the NE side of Saltspring Island. It extends 400 feet into Swanson channel. The pier is a long, narrow walk-on structure, located on an exposed shore and can be very rough.

Moorage at Fernwood

The small 44 foot float serves strictly as a transient dock with a 24 hour maximum for visiting boats. Generally, the dock is used for short stop overs by pleasure craft, and by commuters from nearby islands. There are no Services on the Dock.

Nearby Services

There are two eating establishments and a small grocery store located across the road from the dock, and a payphone is available. It is several miles by road to other services.
