The CRD water rate for Colwood, Langford, Metchosin, View Royal, Sooke and portions of East Sooke and the Highlands is $2.84 per cubic metre. How to Pay Your Utility Bill

Online: Internet banking through your financial institution (select CAPITAL REGIONAL DISTRICT or CRD as the bill payee)

By Telephone: Through your financial institution's telephone banking

By Mail: Cheques only, do not mail cash. Please make cheques payable to CAPITAL REGIONAL DISTRICT and mail to CRD Water Billing 479 Island Hwy, Victoria, BC V9B 1H7

In Person: You can pay your water bill in person at the 479 Island Hwy, Monday-Friday (excluding stat holidays) between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.  Please note the only forms of payment that are accepted are cash, cheque or debit.  We do not accept credit card payments.

Direct Debit (Pre-Authorized Payments): We do not currently offer pre-authorized payments, please pay via one of the approved payment options listed above. 

E-transfers: We cannot accept e-transfers as payment, please pay via one of the approved payment options listed above.

Important Information
 

Accounts in Arrears

Charges in arrears as of December 31 of the current year will be transferred to the real property taxes department and collected as taxes in arrears (except for properties exempt from assessment for taxation). Transferred accounts may be subject to an administration fee.

For properties with arrears not transferable to property taxes, water may be shut off. Water will not be turned on until the total arrears amount is paid in person, including any disconnection and reconnection fees.

If applicable, please retain your bills for income tax purposes. There will be a charge for duplicate receipts and payment history. A late payment charge will be added after the billing due date.

Property Owner Responsibility

The current property owner is responsible for water accounts unpaid by former owners or occupants.
