Flare activity at Hartland Landfill

The RNG Facility is commissioning a new candlestick flare at the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Facility.

This flare will be utilized to safely burn landfill gas for short periods when the RNG facility has shutdown or is temporarily unable to process landfill gas.  During flare operation there will be a visible flame than can be seen from roads near the Hartland Landfill property, however there is no risk to the public or surrounding area.
