The water quality advisory has been rescinded.

On November 3, 2025, the Capital Regional District (CRD), in consultation with Island Health,  issued a water quality advisory for the Wilderness Mountain Water Service Area due to elevated concentrations of manganese.  The water quality advisory is no longer in effect. 

The Boil Water Advisory issued on October 14, 2025, is a separate notice and remains in effect as of December 16, 2025.
