Closure Due to Landslip on Galloping Goose Regional Trail in Sooke

The trail remains closed near kilometre 45, just ahead of the Charters Trestle. Please continue to avoid the area.

No public access is permitted around the landslip. There is currently no set date for reopening of this section of trail, however crews will begin clean up and remediation work in the coming weeks.

The Charters Trestle Bridge remains accessible from the Grass Lake Trail and the north portion of the Galloping Goose. See map for details [PDF/198KB].
