Partial closure starting Feb. 17, between Hereward Road and Devonshire Road due to BC Hydro work.

Starting Feb. 17, 2026, BC Hydro will be working adjacent to the E&N Regional Trail between Hereward Road and Devonshire Road.

The trail will remain open. But there will be partial closures with temporary intermittent delays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for BC Hydro construction and the movement of equipment.

During this time only the south lane of the E&N Trail will be open to cyclist and pedestrian traffic. Users will need to dismount and safely proceed through the work zone as directed. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to direct traffic. See map for detail. [PDF/2.6MB]

Both lanes will be fully open outside of 9 a.m - 3 p.m. Work is expected to take 3 months to complete.
