    Event information

The soil in our backyards is full of life! Worms and beneficial bacteria are busy 24/7 capturing carbon and feeding our plants – but they need your help!

Learn about what you can do to contribute to a healthy, resilient region via composting, mulching, carbon capture and more! Get introduced to some of your soil creatures and learn about how healthy soils can lower water consumption and fertilizer use across our region.

The Compost Education Center is a non-profit organization with charitable status providing composting, waste diversion, and ecological gardening education to CRD residents.

Join us for this lunch and learn!
