    Mill Hill Regional Park (Langford)

Teachers are invited to join CRD staff for a professional development workshop with a focus on stewardship. Join CRD Indigenous cultural programmer, Leslie McGarry, for a guided walk in Mill Hill Regional Park to explore Indigenous perspectives in nature. The walk will be followed by an overview of CRD Regional Parks, Climate, 3R, and Water school programs. This free event will connect you with CRD educators and provide resources for locally connected lesson ideas to inspire stewardship of the region.

Light refreshments will be provided; please bring your lunch and a reusable mug. Please dress for the weather with sturdy footwear. The guided walk portion of the day will be outdoors and will last an hour and a half. The trail is 800 metres long with compact soil or gravel surface and a slight incline, with rocky portions and exposed roots. The indoor portion of the day will be in a meeting room located on the second floor, accessible only by stairs. There is no elevator or ramp.
