Mill Hill Regional Park
Regional Park
Langford
This little-known park is a natural oasis, showcasing the beauty and ecological richness of our region.
Visitors can explore a variety of environments in this park. You can walk through cool woodlands and climb to the summit (203 m) for stunning views. Hike on trails that wind through a Douglas-fir forest, a Garry oak ecosystem, and a rocky hilltop. Enjoy breathtaking views of Esquimalt Harbour and the Victoria area.
At the summit, check out the Regional Parks 35th Anniversary peak-finder cairn, made from stones found at the top and built on the foundations of a former Forest Service lookout tower.
For more adventurous hikers, a trail on the eastern side of Mill Hill connects to Thetis Lake Regional Park, just across the Trans-Canada Highway.
