Port Renfrew residents urged to conserve water as reservoir levels drop. Crews repairing watermain.

CRD crews are working to repair a water main leak in Port Renfrew. 
 
The damaged section of the water system has been shut off so crews can complete repairs. 
 
The community is currently being supplied by reservoir water only..
 
Reservoir levels are dropping and could become critically low as early as tomorrow morning.
 
Residents are urgently asked to conserve water immediately:
  • Use water for essential needs only (drinking, cooking, sanitation)
  • Avoid all outdoor water use (watering lawns, washing vehicles)
  • Limit showers and postpone laundry and dishwashing where possible
