Closure on the Galloping Goose Regional Trail – Colwood

The Galloping Goose Regional Trail southwest of the new Colwood overpass will be closed July 14-16

The Galloping Goose will be closed between 9am and 3pm from July 14-16 due to paving work on the trail. The closure area is between the new overpass and the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and Belmont Road (see attached map) [PDF/720KB]. A pedestrian and cyclist detour will be in place while the section of trail is closed for paving work. The trail will be fully open outside of 9am and 3pm. 

Trail users should follow the direction of traffic control personnel on either end of the closure and follow posted detour signage.
