The Pender Island Parks and Recreation Commission (PIPRC) is leading the Schooner Way Trail Project, an initiative to build a multi-use trail from Danny Martin Ballpark to the Pender School. 

Work on the project is expected to start in the fall of 2024, with a completion date some time in 2026.
