Regional Park and Trail Closures in Sooke

The Galloping Goose Regional Trail at kilometre 52 and Kapoor Regional Park are closed due to the Mount Jack Wildfire.

As a precaution, and after consultation with the BC Wildfire Service, as of September 23, the Capital Regional District has closed the following areas due to the Mount Jack Wildfire:

  • The Galloping Goose Regional Trail northbound at kilometre 52, at the Spring Salmon Place Campground
  • Access to Kapoor Regional Park

Visitors are asked to keep out of the closure area and avoid accessing the area through other parks and trail networks. See map for details [PDF/4.3MB].
