    To learn more about the following improvement project and the petition process, attend the public information session at the Saturna Community Hall on August 14, 2025.

    The Lyall Harbour-Boot Cove Water System requires upgrades and current capital reserves are insufficient to cover the projected capital costs of $2,000,000. Multiple projects, including dam improvements, storage tank repairs and a future ground well suitability study are deemed necessary to continue providing safe drinking water for the service area. A petition is required to borrow the funds to complete the improvement projects.  Homeowners must return their petitions no later than October 1, 2025.
