    Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park (Saanich) 

    Where do bats live? What do they eat and how do they move? Bring your little ones and enjoy games and activities designed to help you learn more about the world’s only true flying mammals.  

    Meeting place: Information kiosk at the Filter Beds parking lot. Available by bus via BC Transit #70, #71, #72 or #75 

    Trail Description: Approximately 500m walk with trail surface ranging from compact gravel to grassy field and compact soil with tree roots. Trails and field may be muddy after rain events. No benches on route. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot.

    Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
