The Capital Regional District (CRD) has identified the need to replace the Harling Point Pump Station on Crescent Road as part of an infrastructure review. This pump station is part of the core area wastewater treatment system, which collects wastewater from the municipalities of Victoria, Esquimalt, Saanich, Oak Bay, View Royal, Langford, Colwood, and the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. Wastewater is transported through CRD trunk sewers and pump stations for treatment at the McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant.
