Have you ever wondered what’s the deal with seals? Join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist and Indigenous cultural programmer for a self-guided accessible walk to learn more about the natural and cultural history of seals. Discover the significance of seals in many coastal First Nations cultures and how we can respect these incredible mammals.

Meeting place: Drop by anytime between 10am and 1pm. This walk begins near the picnic shelter off Homathko Road.

Trail description: 1km walk on compact gravel trail, no incline. One bench along route. Accessible washroom at main parking lot. Accessible parking spots in main large parking lot. Wheelchair accessible.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
