    Learn what it takes to become a candidate at an upcoming information session for the 2026 General Local Election.

    This session is open to potential candidates for the following offices:

    • 1 Director to be elected to the office of Juan de Fuca Electoral Area Director
    • 1 Director to be elected to the office of Southern Gulf Islands Electoral Area Director

    Email elections@crd.bc.ca to register and receive the Teams Meeting link.

    A separate session is being held for Salt Spring Island Elections candidate information.
