Declaration of Election by Voting and Acclamation

The Chief Election Officer has declared an election by voting and acclamation in the 2026 General Local Election pursuant to Section 98 in the Local Government Act. The CRD conducts elections for Electoral Area Directors, Salt Spring Island Local Community Commissioners, Juan de Fuca Land Use Committee, and on behalf of Island Trust for Galiano Island, Mayne Island, North Pender Island, South Pender Island, Salt Spring Island, and Saturna Island Local Trust Areas.
