    Tour Hartland Landfill: see waste management in action, from gas-to-energy to recycling, and learn how CRD supports the 3Rs.

    Join us for a presentation at the Hartland Learning Centre followed by a guided tour of Hartland Landfill. Learn how the CRD safely manages the region’s waste and supports the 3Rs (reduce, reuse, recycle). Highlights include the landfill active face, gas-to-energy plant, leachate lagoons, site rehabilitation with native trees, and waste diversion areas.
