    Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park (Metchosin) 

    Can you name some of the native plants around you in the forest? Do you know which plants act like sponges, or which tree has ‘mouse tails’ on its cones? Meet some of your plant neighbours and get to know them on the trail at Witty’s Lagoon. 

    Meeting Place: Drop by anytime between 10am and 1pm. This walk begins at the main parking lot off Metchosin Road.  

    Trail Description: 800m total distance. A steep wide gravel trail near the main parking lot. The surface for the trail is a combination of gravel and compact clay-like soil and boardwalk. Accessible pit toilet available near parking lot. Not stroller friendly.
