    Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)

Catch a ride on the City of Victoria’s Recreation Bus and then join a CRD Regional Parks naturalist and CRD Indigenous cultural programmer on a walk to learn all about winter’s sleeping beauties - bears! We’ll explore their important role in the ecosystem and their significance to First Peoples on this guided walk through the forest. The start and end time of this program includes time for transportation.

$16/person program fee covers the cost of roundtrip transportation from Crystal Pool & Fitness Centre. You must pre-register as space is limited.

Trail description: 1km on trail surface with compact dirt with roots, one steep incline along the way. Accessible washroom available near parking lot.

Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
