    Elk/Beaver Lake Regional Park (Saanich) 

    Celebrate Pride and Join CRD Regional Parks naturalist and Indigenous cultural programmer on a walk to celebrate diversity in nature. We’ll celebrate ways fungi, slugs, frogs and bats can help us question ideas of conformity. We’ll explore the natural history and Indigenous cultural history of walking in two worlds. 

    Meeting place: Beaver Lake Picnic Shelter at the Filter Beds parking lot. 

    Trail Description: Approximately 1km walk with trail surface ranging from compact gravel to cement driveway to grassy field and compact soil with tree roots. Trails and field may be muddy after rain events. Accessible washrooms available near parking lot.
