Francis/King Regional Park (Saanich)
Discover all of the tricks of the woodpecker trade. What makes them so good at what they do? We will show you how to identify different woodpeckers by sight, sound and habits on this fun guided walk along the accessible boardwalk.
Meeting place: Francis/King Nature Centre off Munn Road.
Trail Description: 800m loop with 7 benches along the way. Boardwalk and compact gravel surfaces with slight incline. Accessible washroom available near parking lot. Wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. We may encounter dogs in our parks. This trail requires all dogs to be on leash.
Please note: We like pets too. However, their presence can be disruptive for some folks. If you plan to attend one of our programs, please leave pets at home. Guide and service animals are, of course, welcome.
