The boil water advisory has been rescinded – residents no longer need to boil their water.

Customers in the Wilderness Mountain Water Service Area are advised that the Boil Water Advisory issued on March 20, 2026 is now rescinded. 

Water sampling and testing has indicated that the water is now safe to consume, and boiling 
water is no longer necessary. For information on steps to take after a Boil Water Advisory has been lifted, please visit Island Health at www.islandhealth.ca/boilwater
