The Cowichan Valley Regional District and Capital Regional District must provide at least 3 and not more than 5 names to the B.C. Ferry Authority (BCFA) Board of Directors. From those 5 names, the BCFA Board selects one representative for a three-year term representing Southern Vancouver Island.
