The CRD holds 3 shares in CREST, which is incorporated under the Emergency Communications Corporations Act. The CRD appoints 3 member-representatives for shareholder votes (usually the 3 Electoral Area Directors), and 3 nominees as members to the CREST Board to represent each of the 3 Electoral Areas .
