Pay Transparency Report 2025

In 2023, the Government of British Columbia passed the Pay Transparency Act in an effort to help close the gender pay gap in BC. Under this legislation, all employers above a certain size are required post annual pay transparency reports by November 1st each year.

Maintaining equitable pay practices in the workplace is a long-standing commitment at the Capital Regional District (CRD), and this data and report will assist us as we put strategies in place to address, reduce, and remove systemic barriers to pay equity. The CRD’s Pay Transparency Report is based on pay data from fiscal year 2024. It is aggregate data and does not compare pay data at the individual job level.
