East Sooke Regional Park Management Plan Initial Engagement Report

The CRD initiated a joint management plan for East Sooke Regional Park in 2020. A management plan provides both strategic and specific management direction and guides environmental conservation, cultural heritage management, visitor use and park development over a 10-15-year period.

The first round of public engagement on development of a park management plan for East Sooke Regional Park finished in 2021. The input received is summarized in the Initial Engagement Report. The comments and suggestions will be reviewed and considered as the draft park management plan is developed.

The CRD Board decided at their meeting of February 10, 2021 to delay work on the management planning process to address other regional parks and trails priority projects.
