This 21-hectare park on North Pender Island is a favourite for both locals and visitors alike looking for a stunning view. Enjoy a challenging hike up the steep trail, through shady, dense forest, to an amazing 180-degree viewpoint overlooking Galiano, Mayne, and Salt Spring Islands. On a clear day, even the Olympic Mountains are visible! The park's only official trail is accessible from either Ogden Road or Upper Terrace Road.

How to Get There

Upper Terrace Road Entrance: From the Otter Bay Ferry Terminal, take MacKinnon Road to Otter Bay Road. Once on Otter Bay Road, continue until you reach Port Washington Road and turn left. At the end of Port Washington Road, turn right onto Bridges Road and stay on it as it turns into Upper Terrace Road which leads to the park entrance.

Ogden Road Entrance: From the Otter Bay Ferry Terminal, take MacKinnon Road to Otter Bay Road. Once on Otter Bay Road, continue until you reach Port Washington Road and turn left. At the end of Port Washington Road, turn right onto Bridges Road and continue on it until it turns into Stanley Point Road. Continue on Stanley Point Road until you reach Walden Road. Veer left onto Walden Road and stay on it until it turns into Ogden Road, where you'll find the park entrance.
