Regional Growth Strategy Timeline

In collaboration with local, provincial, and federal government staff, and through public consultation, the Capital Regional District (CRD) adopted its first Regional Growth Strategy (RGS) in 2003. The current RGS was adopted in 2018 and amended with updated population projections in 2021. This infographic summarizes the timelines of amendments and updates made between 2007 and 2021.
