Albert Head Regional Park is a small lagoon and dune park that offers stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and features a unique cobble beach. It serves as a sanctuary for various bird species and is a popular place for family picnics, birdwatching, and beach combing.

How to Get There

Follow the Trans-Canada Highway from Victoria, and take the Colwood exit. Follow the Island Highway, which turns into Sooke Road. From Sooke Road, turn left on Metchosin Road. Turn left on Farhill Road, which turns into Park Drive, then Delgada Road, which leads to the park entrance. Allow approximately 30 minutes driving time from Victoria.

Public Transportation

Take BC Transit bus #50 from Victoria to the Langford Exchange. Transfer to #54 or #55 to Metchosin Road at Farhill Road. The park is approximately a 400-metre walk from the bus stop. Contact BC Transit for schedule information.
