Ayum Creek Regional Park

This six-hectare park protects the estuary where Ayum Creek flows into the Sooke Basin. The creek runs through a mix of forest and wetland and is important for wild coho and chum salmon, as well as steelhead and cutthroat trout. Please note that there are no public facilities in this park, and dogs must be kept on a leash.

How to Get There

Follow the Trans-Canada Highway from Victoria, and take the Sooke exit. Follow Sooke Road #14 past Ludlow Road. Park by the bridge near the bus stop. Allow approximately 45 minutes driving time from Victoria.

Public Transportation

Take BC Transit bus #61 and get off at the stop past Ludlow Road.
