Coles Bay Regional Park, nestled on the Saanich Peninsula, is a hidden gem. It features winding trails that lead through old-growth forests to a stunning pebble beach with views of Saanich Inlet. The park is perfect for family beach outings or peaceful nature retreats, offering something special for everyone to enjoy.

Coles Bay is a popular spot for swimming in the summer because of its relatively warm water. You can reach the beach with a quick 10-minute walk along either the Beach Trail or the Nature Trail from the main Parking lot. Enjoy lunch at accessible picnic tables in the grassy area near the Parking lot or right by the beach. Accessible toilets are also available near the parking area.

How to Get There

Follow the Pat Bay Highway from Victoria, and take the West Saanich Road exit. From West Saanich Road, turn left on Ardmore Drive and left again on Inverness Road, which leads to the park entrance. Allow approximately 30 minutes driving time from Victoria.
