Description

Livingston was born in Vancouver in 1951 and was formally adopted into the Kwaguʼł (Kwakwakaʼwakw) community in 1971. He trained under master carvers Tony Hunt and Henry Hunt at the Royal BC Museum and became known for his work in Tlingit-style carving. His practice included totem poles, masks, and ceremonial furniture. He also co-ran the Arts of the Raven Gallery in Victoria for two decades.
